Mara Marreiro is a published illustrator, lover of bacalhau à bras (tasty portuguese codfish recipe, and always down for a pint of german beer.

Born and bred in southern Portugal, she graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA in Animation Production and now works in children’s books. Her clients include Hightree Publishing, Worten, and Homy Animation, amongst others.
